Small Group Bible Study
When We Study God's Word, We Hear Him Speak to Us
Participation in a small group offers a great environment for meaningful encounters with our beliefs and our Christian walk. As believers we need a community of sisters and brothers to help discover biblical truths and to help us walk in these truths. This sharpens our knowledge, reveals our blind spots, corrects our misunderstanding, and provides accountability in our daily lives. As we mature in this process, we experience more and more of God's blessings and position ourselves to be blessings to our families, our church, our community, and our world.
Jesus has set the example
As believers, we seek to follow Jesus’ example in all things. Although Jesus preached often to large crowds, he chose to empower and prepare his followers for ministry in a small group setting. The early church continued with this discipleship model; Acts 2:42 tells us that first generation believers met in homes and “devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship.” - Wordgo Bible Study Fellowship
